The rating agency "RIA Rating" published the Ranking of insurance companies by volume of premiums - the results of I quarter of 2015. According to the research agency IBG entered the Top 50 rating of Russian insurance companies.

Just RIA "Rating" has become more than 300 Russian insurance companies. Ranking based on the Bank of Russia and is constructed by ranking of insurance companies by volume obtained in the I quarter 2015 premiums of voluntary and compulsory insurance with the exception of mandatory health insurance (MHI).

Despite the fact that experts RIA Rating predict continued deterioration of the situation, especially strong effect on voluntary types of insurance, the chosen strategy of the company, makes it possible to IBG is sure to maintain its position as the previous confirmed entry in the top 50 domestic insurers according to the Central Bank for 2014.

On January 1, 2012 introduced compulsory insurance of civil liability of the owner of a dangerous object for injury in an accident at the hazardous facility (OVOP). Relations connected with OVOP, regulated by the Federal Law №225-FZ of 27.07.2010 "On compulsory insurance of civil liability of the owner of a dangerous object for injury in an accident at the hazardous facility". The object of compulsory insurance is the property interests of the owner of a dangerous object, related to its obligation to compensate the damage caused to the victims.    

The owner of a dangerous object is obliged to conclude a contract OVOP in accordance with the law until 31 March 2012. Enter the dangerous object in operation is not permitted in the case of non-owner insurance obligations.    

For many owners of dangerous objects, the amount of insurance premiums can reach more than 300 000 rubles. Those who try to ignore the OVOP await tangible administrative fines - up to 500 000, starting from April 1, 2012.    

Fares and rules OVOP approved by the Russian government and are uniform for all insurance companies.    

Currently manufactured forms OVOP, is the licensing of insurance companies, it developed an electronic calculator to calculate the cost of insurance.    

Under the new law, the right to exercise OVOP get the insurance companies that are members of the National Union of Liability Insurers (NSSE) and received a license to conduct this type of insurance.
